Privacy Policy

Again (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a gym-tracking app published by Adaba Studio. Again is built to be private by default: it is a single-player app with no account, and the workouts, exercises, sets, personal records, goals, and streaks you create live on your device. This policy explains the limited information the app handles and why.
1. Your training data stays on your device
Everything you log in Again — your workouts, exercises (including any custom ones you create), sets with their weights, reps and durations, personal records, streaks, weekly goal, and your preferences such as units (kg/lb) and appearance — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). This database is not uploaded to us and we cannot browse it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. You can export a copy of your data at any time from the app’s settings.
2. Anonymous analytics
To understand how the app is used and where to improve it, we collect anonymous product-analytics events (for example: completing onboarding, starting a workout, logging a set, or hitting a personal record) using PostHog.
- Events are tied to a random, app-generated identifier — not your name, email, Apple ID, or device advertising identifier (IDFA).
- We do not use the IDFA and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- Some events include details about the activity itself — such as the exercise name, muscle group, weight, reps, and whether a set was a personal record — so we can understand which features are used and how. These details are aggregate and anonymous; they are not linked to your real-world identity.
- Analytics data is processed on servers located in the European Union.
In App Store terms this is categorised as “Usage Data / Product Interaction”, not linked to your identity and not used for tracking.
3. Diagnostics & crash reporting
To find and fix bugs, Again automatically reports crashes and errors through the same anonymous PostHog identifier described above. We may also capture anonymised session recordings of how screens are used (for example, where taps occur), with all text you type — such as the numbers you enter for a set — automatically masked. This is used solely to diagnose problems and improve usability, never to identify you.
4. Notifications
If you opt in to streak and reminder notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. We do not operate a server that sends you push notifications, and you can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
5. No third-party content services
Again does not search the internet or pull in third-party content to function. The exercise library ships inside the app, so your everyday use does not send your workouts to any outside service beyond the anonymous analytics described above.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not build advertising profiles or track you across apps.
- We do not require you to create an account or provide personal details.
7. Children
Again is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Because your training data is stored only on your device, you are in control of it: you can edit or delete entries in the app, export a copy at any time, and deleting the app removes the data entirely. For anonymous analytics, or if you have any privacy question or request (including under the GDPR or CCPA), contact us at the address below and we will help.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
